Almost one week after her due date Jessica Simpson has announced that she has given birth to a baby girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson for fiance Eric Johnson.
Maxwell Drew Johnson who has her maternal grandmother’s maiden name weighed in at 9 pounds, 13 ounces.
The arrival of the baby girl was announced via the fashion mogul’s official website:
“Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson.We are so grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received. This is been the greatest experience of our lives.”
TMZ is reporting that Simpson booked the most expensive suite at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.
The new mother and the baby are staying in a room costing $3,784 a day and comes complete with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, private massages, manicure and pedicure.
